Research Interest

Dr Farah Saeed completed her PhD (Pharmacognosy) from the University of Karachi. She is associated with Dow University of Health Sciences since 2008. Currently she is serving as an Associate Professor and Incharge at the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dow College of Pharmacy. She has 45 research articles and seven books (edited) to her credit. Also received Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Teaching Performance at Dow College of Pharmacy, DUHS by QEC, DUHS on 19-02-2019. She actively served as a Coordinator for the extra-curricular events at Dow University of Health Sciences as well as hosted DUHS extra-curricular events as an Announcer/Moderator. Her research encompasses fostering of integrated system of medicine for curative and palliative treatment of variable pathologies with special reference to medicines of natural origin used by different system of medicine (Herbals, Homeopathy, Unani, Ayurveda, Chinese, Aromatherapy and all others used by people globally) and their standardization.
