The Cultural Exchange Society and Dow Students’ Global Scholars Community, in collaboration with the Directorate of Global Engagement, hosted a meaningful Art Therapy Session—bringing students together in a safe, nurturing space to express, reflect, and reconnect through creativity.This session offered a refreshing break from academic pressures, allowing students to unwind and focus on their emotional well-being. Guided by the belief that art speaks where words fail, participants explored how colors, textures, and personal expression can enhance mental clarity, reduce stress, and promote inner healing.

From brushstrokes to shared stories, it was a powerful reminder of how art can restore balance, uplift spirits, and build community—aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

DUBIC 5th Cohort Orientation and Graduation Ceremony 2025The Dow University Business Incubation Center (DUBIC) organized the Startups Graduation Ceremony for the incubated startups of the 4th Cohort on June 21, 2025. The event was graced by prominent DUHS leaders including Prof. Nazli Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor and Chief Guest for the occasion, and Prof. Dr. Kashif Shafique, Director ORIC.

The Chief Guest, along with the Director ORIC, applauded the achievements of the graduating startups and shared words of encouragement for the incoming 5th cohort. Both emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in shaping the future.

DUBIC remains committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem at DUHS with the support of its faculty and students. The center will continue to offer exceptional opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to thrive and grow.

Pakistan’s first Pharmaceutical Regulatory Science Diploma, offered by the Dow Institute of Biological, Biochemical & Pharmaceutical Sciences (IBBPS), is designed to equip professionals with in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, drug approval processes, and compliance standards essential for the pharmaceutical industry.We were honored to have Mr. Hanif Ajari, Director Export Network, Institute of Business & Corporate Services at Getz Pharma, as one of our esteemed mentors. He recently concluded his extended contribution to the inaugural batch of the diploma program.

To acknowledge his valuable efforts and unwavering commitment, the department presented Mr. Hanif Ajari with a bouquet as a token of appreciation during his final class.

Nursing Services is proud to announce that, for the third time, we have successfully conducted a two-day Medication Administration Workshop for our nursing staff, totaling 16 credit hours.This workshop focused on strengthening essential nursing competencies, particularly accurate drug calculation and safe medication administration, both of which are vital to ensuring patient safety, effective treatment, and professional accountability.

A total of 46 nurses attended the session, and 30 participants successfully passed the post-workshop assessment.

Final-year students of Respiratory Critical Care Technology (RCCT) from Dow Institute of Medical Technology visited Dar-ul-Sakoon (Older Centre) as part of their community service initiative.Facilitated by Ms. Afshan Arzoo and Ms. Hina Rizvi, the visit focused on raising awareness about cardiopulmonary health and its vital connection with nutrition.

Through meaningful interactions and health education, the students contributed to improving the well-being of the elderly and promoting preventive care practices.
