Research Interest

Dr Rabya Munawar completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2019. She completed her MPhil in 2012 and B Pharm in 2006 at the University of Karachi. She is a registered pharmacist from the Pharmacy Council of Sindh and has worked as an Assistant Professor at Dow College of Pharmacy, DUHS, since May 2018. In 2013, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ziauddin University. In 2012, she was working as a senior lecturer at Jinnah Medical and Dental College (Currently Sohail University). In 2008, she joined the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Karachi as an Internee and was later promoted to teaching Assistant. She started her career at Liaquat National Hospital Pharmacy as Trainee Pharmacist and advanced to the position of Pharmacist and then Senior Pharmacist. She has published 8 research papers in different international and national research journals.

Drug Designing and Drug Development for different diseases including Computational or Insilico Studies, synthesis of drug, different Invitro and Invivo activities.
