Research Interest

Assessment of health & nutrition indicators,  diet and food security impacts on policies and programs, agriculture nutrition linkages, technology strategies to control NCD burden, and behavior economics.

  • 1st position MPhil Coursework, 3rd position M.Sc.  & 3rdposition BSc (hons) from Karachi University.
  • Certified Master Trainer of Faculty Professional development from HEC Pakistan, 2018
     

Major Research Grants/Projects:

  • Co- investigator for the project: Are we aware of increasing burden of Pre-Diabetes? An awareness campaign to sensitize health.
  • Co- investigator for the project on “Development of Nutrition Specific and Nutrition Sensitive Behaviour Change Communication (Bcc) Strategy for Rural women In Baluchistan”. Grant by Australian Govt. & Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) from 2018-2020.
