- Development of biological control approaches using epiphytic yeast to maintain postharvest quality and control fruit rot of mango, citrus & tomato approved for funding by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and awarded 9.595 million (PKR) from 2021-2024 as PI
- Biodegradable protein-based edible films amalgamated with Berberis pseudumbellata fruit extract as an antimicrobial agent against foodborne pathogens and application in packaging of meat funded by Higher Education (HEC) Pakistan and awarded 0.49 million (PKR) in 2019 as PI.
