The OPD block was established in Dec 2009 to provide health care services to the adjacent community. Dow University Hospital has all possible specialties for patients. The General OPD timings are 9:00 am to 01:00 pm . The General OPD Charges are Rs. 500/-. At the OPD Block, the faculty provides the consultation at a nominal rate as a service to community, irrespective of their actual private consultation fees.

The Executive OPD is also available from 02:00 pm till 08:00 pm onward. The Executive OPD charges are Rs. 600/- to Rs. 1500/-. Highly qualified faculty & doctors are available in the OPD, which is specialized for working professionals. The OPD block is also providing ambulatory care to 14,000 – 15,000 patients per month. It has computerized Registration and tracking system for patients.

Considering the increased number of patients, a new huge OPD block has been designed by the architect, which will cater expected 5000 patients daily in the near future, as Dow medical city has thickly populated areas around OJHA campus. In short, following services are provided to outdoor patients.
