It is a great honor to lead the Department of Science of Dental Materials at the Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). Being the Chairperson of the Department, I am also looking after the routine academic matters of the same Department in two other constituent colleges of DUHS. 

At the undergraduate level, our primary goal is to provide the students with basic theoretical and practical knowledge of Dental Materials using various effective teaching methodologies so they can perform well in their professional lives. Our teaching strategies, assessment methods, and learning outcomes are well-aligned, following the universal norms.

 Our Master of Dental Science (MDS) program in Dental Materials is designed for dental professionals who wish to develop careers in research and teaching. The program aims to equip our postgraduate trainees with the tools to progress beyond research degrees into influential positions within academia, industry, and consultancy. Our MDS trainees are provided with a wide range of research facilities at the well-equipped laboratories of the DUHS.
