Overview
The department of operative dentistry is divided into three major divisions: Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Pediatric dentistry. The primary focus of the Department of Operative Dentistry is to instill knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking for the diagnosis, prevention, and management of dental conditions and pathologies in undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The department upholds a comprehensive learning environment for the students, ensuring that all fields of Operative Dentistry are studied, observed, and practiced. We ensure that the department is fully equipped with the latest facilities in conjunction with regular learning and hands-on clinical practice, enabling the students to learn new operative techniques and gain relevant clinical experience.
A full-time teaching faculty with advanced training in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics is currently working in the department. These faculty members are recognized for their teaching, research, and clinical expertise. The departmental faculty is actively involved in basic and clinical research to help improve patient care and contribute towards the advancement of the field.
