Dow Dental College (DDC) was established in 2012. Dow Dental College, the constituent section of Dow Medical College, offers a four-year degree in Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery program. The College has one of the best faculty in the region, which include fellows, PhD.s and MPhil./MSc. trained from the renowned institutions recognized nationally and internationally. Also, the basic and clinical sciences faculty of Dow Medical College is involved in teaching and training of the undergraduates

It is my pleasure to introduce the Department of Operative Dentistry, Dow Dental College. The department made its humble beginning in 2012 with 10 dental units. Today we have 36 state-of-the-art dental units in two separate OPDs. The department is blessed with highly skilled and trained clinical faculty and support staff. There are three fellows and one MDS, Operative dentistry. So, all in all, we have four consultants in the department. In addition, we also have a highly skilled adjunct faculty who will perform surgical endodontic cases for us on weekly basis.

The department has the latest equipment for patient care, eg we have two operating microscopes, a soft tissue laser, along with both hard and soft sensor-based digital X-rays, in addition to the standard equipment required for routine patient care.

The Department plans to start FCPS training in the discipline of Operative Dentistry & Endodontics. In addition, we plan to start a PhD program in this specialty soon. The availability of advanced research equipment on the 7th floor of DDC and in the OJHA campus will allow us to make this department one of the region's best Operative dentistry & Endodontics Department.
