About us

Founded in December 2003, the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has been developing a tradition of excellence in education, research and community service. DUHS has educated and trained more than 8,000 students and residents from 20 academic institutes. The University has nearly 3,000 employees, including approximately 850 faculty members at present.

Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori took oath on 10th October 2022 as 34th Governor of Sindh under Article 101 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. 

The Role of Chancellor

The Chancellor of the University presides over the convocation of the University and the meetings of the Senate. The Chancellor has the authority to conduct the meetings of the Senate, and inspect the University and its buildings, laboratories, libraries, museums, workshops, teaching, and conduction of examinations in any of the institutions, colleges or hostels maintained, recognized or affiliated to the University.
