Guidelines for Authors
For both oral and poster presentations, please be mindful of the conference theme and ensure you consider the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), explaining the relevance of your research to these goals and the potential impact. Specify the SDG and target that best describes the focus of your abstract. UN Sustainable Development Goals can be viewed at: https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/sdgs.
Authors who submit abstracts should confirm that:
It has yet to be previously published/presented anywhere else.
They do not plan to present/publish it before the dates of this event.
Whether they want to submit their abstract for oral or poster presentation OR both.
Reviews, pilot studies, case studies, and protocols will only be considered for poster presentations.
The scientific conference committee will evaluate the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts based on the following criteria:
Relevancy to conference themes
Novelty & originality of the research
Significance & importance of the findings/results
Comments from national and international reviewers
Author information should include
First name, Middle name & Sir name
Affiliation (Institute/Company name, city and country name)
Email and telephone of the corresponding author only
Abstract must include the following:
Title should not contain more than 14 words
Background
Objectives of the study
Methodology/Study Design such as Mention study design, duration of the study with dates and venue
Results and Findings
Conclusions
Keywords
Four year BS program in the discipline of Biotechnology (BS Biotechnology) is conducted at Dow College of Biotechnology (DCOB). The course has been extensively designed to produce competent human resources in the field of biotechnology, and to train graduates to apply scientific knowledge to address the locally prevalent health issues and to cater to the industrial needs.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
- Oral presentations will be allotted 10 minutes (7 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for discussion)
- Presentation date and time will be announced later
- Oral presentations slides must be in MS PowerPoint
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
The poster presentation is an integral part of a conference, and we would like to avail this opportunity to interact with peers. Interested poster presenters will also be allowed to share their research/findings with the scientific community at the conference in a special Poster Talk session. In the Poster Talk session, participants will have 5 minutes/3 of slides to share their poster content. Carefully read the following instructions regarding the poster session, set up, presentation, and removal.
