The Radiology Department at the DUHS Ojha Campus was established in 2009 as a branch of Dow Diagnostic Research and Reference Laboratory (DDRL). It was then converted into the Institute of Radiology (DIR) on 6th June 2014.

Research Interest

Dr. Mariam Taufiq is a competent and experienced PMDC verified Radiologist and is currently appointed as an Assistant Professor in Dow University of Health Sciences. She attended Medical School at the Dow Medical College and thereafter completed her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from Aga Khan University Medical College. After clearing FCPS in 2012 was appointed as Assistant professor in Dow Institute of Radiology, Dow University of Health Sciences. She now has over 10 years of experience as independent radiology reporting with special interest in cross sectional imaging. She has been vital part of undergraduate and post graduate programs of Dow Institute of Radiology. She is a life member of Radiological society of Pakistan. Additionally, she is also pursuing Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists. She has qualities to perform and be productive in a challenging environment. She currently serves as CT section in charge in Dow Institute of Radiology in Dow University of Health Sciences.
