Dow Institute of Radiology (DIR)


The Radiology Department at the DUHS Ojha Campus was established in 2009 as a branch of Dow Diagnostic Research and Reference Laboratory (DDRL). It was then converted into the Institute of Radiology (DIR) on 6th June 2014. 

Objectives


• To practice safe and appropriate patient-centered imaging. 
• To deliver timely, high quality image and reporting. 
• To Foster a strong foundation of general radiology knowledge to allow graduates to be an integral, value-added member of a medical team 
• To nurture educational environment for teaching / learning and training of undergraduate,  postgraduate students and radiology technologists. 
• To impart significant contribution towards health care system by adapting advanced and minimally invasive innovative technology and image guided therapies. 
• Encourage life-long learning, allowing graduates to anticipate the medical needs of any specialty and to deliver optimal and timely diagnoses 
• To encourage effective research and medical education in the field of radiology. 
• To promote moral, ethical and professional values.
