A transfusion laboratory is also equipped to provide blood /blood products to in-patients, emergency and renal/liver transplant patients around the clock, after screening the latest state of the art systems (for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C , Human Immune Virus – HIV, Syphilis and malaria) . Transfusion laboratory testing includes routine group and cross match, antibody screening and identification and single donor platelet /apheresis are also available 24/7.
