BS Cardiovascular Perfusion Science program was initiated in 2011; Dow University of Health Sciences is the pioneering institution in Pakistan to be awarded the BS four-year degree in this technology. Dow Institute of Medical Technology, under the umbrella of Dow University, is also the first university to initiate a remarkable initiative of introducing the Grand-Father Clause to facilitate the perfusionist already working in the field of perfusion around Pakistan to qualify them with BS through proper assessment. Moreover, we are producing the best perfusionist in the area through appropriate assessment and training to provide the community with well-trained healthcare professionals and improve Pakistan's healthcare system.
