They are an eminent professional resource of the health care team, who play an active role in medical institutions, hospitals, physicians' offices, diagnostic centers, and other health care facilities in public and private sectors.

We are highly dedicated to providing training to the next generation of eye care professionals taking the health professionals to the next step of technology. 

With the stimulating multidisciplinary environment of the Department of Ophthalmology Technology of DUHS, we are constantly improving the teaching quality and developing and enhancing research ideas. The current nature of technology and its aggressive usage have opened many doors for health professionals to work in ophthalmic technology. There is so much that still needs to be discovered. There is so much to learn in this field through research and innovations. 

The dedicated faculty members have a strong desire to improve patients' lives and enhance our students' careers not only during the study period but also beyond the study period.
