Dow International Medical College was established with the objective to impart medical education to children of Pakistani expatriates. The facilities and infrastructure of Dow International Medical College is comparable to any international educational institute. Around 80% of student population studying in college is international immigrant and they prefer living dorms hence independent Boys and Girls hostels were established.
The Girls Hostel building Consists of four floors accommodation Facility of 200 Students, the rooms are well-furnished and Air conditioned, having a capacity of two students. The Hostel has its own cafeteria, Library and Fitness center facility within the building.
The Boys Hostel building was inaugurated by Honorable Governor Sindh & Chancellor, DUHS Dr.Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on 12th October 2011, it consists of five stories (Ground + 4 Floors) and for the accommodation of 200 students, there are 108 Rooms in which each room have the capacity of two students. The rooms are fully finished with Furniture, Ceiling Fan and Air conditioner. There is a Canteen on Ground Floor for students. Other facilities Play Area, Prayer Area, Waiting Area, Patio Area, Computer Room and Laundry area.
Library, Dow International Medical College
DIMC Library called a central library. Library providing different services such as Reference Services, Online access etc.
It has a reading room and a video conference hall (A seminar hall). In Library building a digital Library is also present where students access internet. An Area called Gosha-e-Yusfia Area (An Area dedicated in the name of legend of Urdu literature Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Yusufi) also present here.
Library opens at 8: Am and Closing time is 10:00 PM. It is a good place for research and getting update knowledge. Student of different departments, Faculty members and Post Graduate students are getting the services of Librarian seminar Hall different programs are conducted are conducted by time to time.
In library there are more than six thousand books available. 600 Journals are also present and there are 251 CDs available. Library’s has a wide covered Area ie 70,439 sq. there are 300 sitting capacity.
There are different sections in library such as Faculty Area, DIMC & Dental Area for other students. There are 350 sitting capacity, Library fulfilling the knowledge need of student, PGs and Faculty members.

Details of the Cafeteria
Cafeteria was established in 2014 following the international standard for fulfilling the standard and caliber of the international students following the rule of Ethics and work totally on hygienic theme. The capacity of sitting is over more than 400 persons inside and outside the cafeteria. The food here is totally hygienic, the oil, spices, vegetables and others are daily picked and cooked so the food stays fresh. The specialty of the cafeteria which makes the environment more beautiful is its open to sky area.
