Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences (DIKIOHS) was established in the year 2006 for the enhancement of academic excellence, an increase of human resources, and the provision of excellent community health care.

Few of the many research projects underway in department are:

  • 1. Effects of Various Medications on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Artificial Acrylic Denture Teeth
  • 2. Evaluation of cumulative effect of different polymerization cycles and various polishing methods on surface roughness of denture base resin analysed by atomic force microscopy
