Assalam o Alaikum, This is Dr Farah Naz. I am privileged to be the Professor and Head of the Department of Operative Dentistry - the biggest Department in Clinical Dentistry at DIDC, DUHS. Our Department's core mission is to undertake outstanding education, research, and quality clinical care to provide common citizens with the best possible health outcomes.

We have outstanding clinical and academic faculty providing dental care services. Our team also includes a Dental hygienist and dental assistants.  We administer undergraduate and postgraduate training of students from the second through the fourth clinical year, followed by a house job of one year. We also offer internships (clinical attachments) in our Department.

During these challenging times through the global pandemic, our team has worked hard to continue to provide quality dental care, considering the strict infection control protocols. We adopted novel teaching approaches to educate our students through virtual means and maintain contact through a learning management system to fulfill our academic mission.

I am proud to lead the most successful team in our dental hospital, and we are dedicated to continuing to serve to the best of our abilities.
