Dow College of Pharmacy was established in 2007. It was based on the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences The college is a distinguished and well renowned entity established under the umbrella of Dow University of Health Sciences and recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
There are two departmental libraries that comprise the Reference Section (for reading only) and Circulation Section (for issuing of books) both for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The departmental library has a stock of four thousand nine hundred (4900) books. Apart from this, there is a central library on the campus with a stock of around six thousand (6000) books. Similarly, a spacious Digital Library is having 50 computers along with a large central Digital library with around two hundred (200) computers. The digital library offers access to a wide range of scientific journals
There are different labs in departments including Pharmaceutics Lab, Microbiology Lab, Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab, Pharmacology Lab, Physiology and Pathology/ Biochemistry Lab, Industrial Pharmacy Lab, and Pharmaceutical Quality Management Lab.
Additionally, we have four (05) labs dedicated exclusively to postgraduate research. These Research Labs are Molecular and systemic Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Testing and Dosage form designing, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Analysis, Pharmacognostic studies, and Pharmacy Practice labs.
There is a fully maintained animal house that provides animals for the smooth execution of pharmacological experiments.
