Overview


The Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition (MSPH-Nutrition) offered by the School of Public Health (SPH), Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi, is a two-year post-graduate degree program with a concentration in Nutritional Sciences subjects. The MSPH-Nutrition degree is a comprehensive interdisciplinary course of studies that blends nutrition science with a public health viewpoint. It integrates public health and nutrition disciplines to teach, train, and equip students and health professionals with skills essential to practicing nutrition in the public health domain in developing countries, particularly Pakistan. This program emphasizes active, student-directed learning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and experiential wisdom. This graduate degree program is the only opportunity to pursue an advanced degree in Public Health with a concentration in Nutritional Sciences in the Sind province of Pakistan.
