The School of Public Health (SPH) was founded in 2012, where Public Health Researchers, Academicians, and Graduates are expected to play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare in Pakistan.

Overview


The MPH degree is the most widely recognized professional credential for leadership in public health. The program emphasizes active, student-directed learning, problem-solving, and the acquisition of skills essential to public health practice. The applications of this field of knowledge are enormous. Public health physicians are health scientists who better understand the impact of chronic illnesses such as coronary artery diseases, cancers, hepatitis, and diabetes in our population and help detect new and emerging health threats. The program is tailored to understand in-depth knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, health service administration, environmental health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, etc, and their application in analyzing the major public health issues worldwide with more emphasis on developing countries, particularly Pakistan.
