A successful hands-on Basic Fillers Training Workshop, accredited for 4 CME hours, was conducted by the Department of Dermatology, DUHS, Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau CHK, in collaboration with CPSP and the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists (PAD) on April 27, 2024, at the Professional Development Center, DUHS.

The program was organized by Dr. Humaira Talat, Associate Professor & HOD Dermatology Department CH. It was well-attended by dermatologists from Karachi. Dr. Rabiya Ghafoor, Consultant Dermatologist at JPMC, and Dr. Shakila Junaid, Consultant Dermatologist at PNS Shifa Karachi, were the master trainers, with Dr. Sadia Tabbassum from AKUH serving as the program coordinator of PAD.

The aim of this workshop is to train dermatologists in Basic Filler techniques. In the future, more such workshops will be conducted to increase awareness about advances in the aesthetic field of Dermatology.
